Back in May 2021, I rented a property that had sustained damage during the big snow storm. This wasn't disclosed at lease signing. The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. Moving back to ATX from NYC early February of next year to be closer to family, and looking for a new job. What can I do if I believe I’m being overcharged for utilities. I was charged prorated around 125 for 11 days for water and electricity (this is my share in a four bedroom apartment). I think this is crazy expensive for utilities for 11 days. I did just move to Austin, is it normal for utilities to be this high ?

Any place to go few hours drive from Austin? Have a 3.5 yo so want to keep it enjoyable/relaxing for us at the same time keep the kiddo engaged and happy. We just need a good change of scene.
