been looking for a job in retail and i have been having a hard time in the last two months looking for a job applied to 14 different places in the last couple of months with only two interviews and a whole ton of what feels like rejections to openings despite working in customer service since i was 19 and now 27.. it feels harder and harder to get a job to live much less start. how do people deal with so much rejected jobs and already have bills coming in faster than you have applicants??

I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $400k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Any advice would be appreciated!

Feel like I missed the boat years back to get into Director of Product role. Back in the day there was only Senior in between a Director role, now there’s Lead and Group levels, so much hierarchy now.

When I inform this to my manager he is saying how come u say like this to client.according to kpmg policy u need to travel to anywhere to work.
