Below is the email i received from Mindtree, a week ago.
We would like to inform you that you have been selected in final interview with Mindtree. We are currently in process of taking your candidature for further processing.

Nope. That’s it these days. Enjoy the lower standard of living we’re all getting used to and start making your exit plan.
I’m a CD for far less in seattle
I’m gonna go against the grain and say its a bit low for a good agency in LA. I’d push for 225 depending on how much experience and how strong your book is.
Yeah ideal would be 250 imo
Bowl Leader
Lower than that for a CD almost everywhere else.
That’s what I got last year at a VC-funded tech startup. It sucked.
If you don't want the gig I'll take it
3rding!! I've seen CD roles drop back down to 130K, which is a terrible. I'd sign that paper fast!
I was a CD in tech and entertainment in LA for the last few years and that sounds about right.
You and me both with that big tech money.
@OP what was your tech salary? Curious how the other half have been living.
I was 270k TC (total comp) at ACD level in house at a top in-house spot. About $200k was base. Then signing bonus. 45k in options and then perks like completely free healthcare etc etc.
Feels a little low to me but im in nyc
Seems way low.
Salaries are lower since there are fewer CD jobs than ever and more CDs than ever. If you don’t want that job, there are 20 people who really need it.
Anecdotally, that hasn’t been my experience over the last 6 months-year. Within reason, if an agency really wants you, they’ll make it work. Basicallly every job I was offered with a salary of 210 was able to stretch their offer, some all the way to 250.
Way of the world right now.
Way of the road, bud
All relative.
Depends on the details.
CD salaries being offered in NYC been around that last couple of years too.
It’s my theory that rates have fallen. I’m remote in LA and get under that. Keeping my eye out for options to test that theory. But have heard some shockingly low numbers outside LA.
Both.
