My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

I’m an immigration paralegal but I have an MA in human rights. I’ve been working at my org for 2 1/2 years but I don’t see an upwards growth for me unless I go to law school but that is really expensive and it’ll take a few years. I’ve tried to seek promotion to Senior paralegal but I’ve been told I don’t have enough experience. Does anyone have any advice on what organizations may be interested in hiring someone with my experience?

I could use some guidance on how to transition out of firm life into a government role. Prior to law: four years working for a state and a city, and four years before that worked at a consulting agency strictly serving government agencies and cities/counties. You’d think this would parlay well into the government roles I am applying for, but so far no dice. I’m entering my fourth year practicing as a lawyer. I love admin law, have some litigation and some transaction work as a lawyer. Thanks!

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. I am looking forward to HR round for Macquarie Gurugram. All rounds went well except for numerical reasoning section in psychometric test. My yoe is exactly 8 years. My current CTC is 16.2 and expecting raise in current company in 2-3 months.

Q1- What is the maximum I can demand in Macquarie in HR round? Initially, before interviews started, I mentioned 27LPA (negotiable). I have a past offer (not current) of 25.5 LPA.
