Besides a paycheck and the fear of letting your partner/team down, how are you staying motivated and focused with all of the ridiculous, scary things happening in the country and world? In a normal environment I’d love what I’m doing, but in the current moment it seems so superfluous to be stressing about products A B and C and appeasing the big bad client with the state of things.

I get that over-use of friendliness in text can come off as green/immature, but I tend to try and cushion my words with positivity or even exclamation marks/the occasional emoji to show that I don't sound completely unemotional.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
