What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

I love this excitement for you! Maybe I’m becoming crotchety and old lol - if the district isn’t paying me, I’m not there! I’ll do a little organizing before the year starts (max half a day), we have a district PD day the day before school starts - usually meetings in the AM then work time in the PM then at 6 that day families come in for meet the teacher night. I usually spend the afternoon and time between when contract hours are done and meet the teacher night furiously working to get my room ready for students the next day. I do some curriculum work in the summer - if they’re paying me. I usually request 2-3 summer work days to spruce up curriculum!
Other than that I try to spend the summer thinking of anything but school!!! That really helps me the most. I’m so excited that you’re so excited and I do remember my first few years of teaching being so excited to get in, have a theme, get organized, make cute little name tags for students etc but please make sure to give your body and mind a little break!!
Thank you for sharing your experience! I am definitely only going to work a few days this summer to spruce things up like you said, but I think you're right - I just need to spend a few weeks not thinking about the school 😂
None of the things you mentioned unless I am paid, but I love your enthusiasm. I am attending one workshop because I am getting paid.
I think that's the best way to go! I also am not doing anything unless paid this summer!
