Had my final interview at Deloitte in the 2nd week of December. Still waiting to hear back on a decision. Have already reached out to HR but no response. Should I reach out to the director who took my final interview? Is this delay normal this time of the year?

I have cleared the 1st stage and have the 2nd round scheduled this week.

I have a offer in hand frm JPM and on notice for next 2 weeks. Expected to join in March.

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)
