Coming from the 80k range now and been with my company forever so out of the job search loop… so anything over would be great but have no idea what to ask for and don’t want to sell myself short.

I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.

I’m at a midsize firm in the Midwest and I’ve noticed that we’ve hired multiple associates who all graduated law school the same year. Some are coming from clerkships, other firms, etc., but they’re all on the same graduation year. This feels like it’s setting up a squeeze down the road for these folks with respect to partnership. Recent puppy owner of about a month. Seems i’m mentally scarred from her crying at night, so much so that my mind makes up sounds of her crying, which causes my sleep to be interrupted.
