Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

My practice area requires me to be working on anywhere from 20-30 different projects at a time, and I used to put everything on a huge whiteboard in my office. Since transitioning to WFH, that hasn’t really been an option, and I switched to using OneNote which has been a life saver. I have one page for each client with notes and other reminders, then i have one master page with all my tasks. OneNote has a check mark box bullet style so you can check off things as they are done. I have each client/matter underlined and put every task that i can’t immediately do there (down to “read email from partner”). Then I usually spent 15 min or so that night before figuring out what I need to prioritize for the next day. It’s saved me from dropping the ball on a lot of things AND I’ve been able to reference whether or not I did something later on.
My practice demands are similar in terms of concurrent projects. Mine vary in terms of per-project scope.
I rely on one note in the same manner. Allows for desktop / mobile access and revisions which is key in terms of wfh, wfcar, and wfoffice.
In conjunction, I use Google tasks (syncs quickly between laptop and phone) for running master to do list that is somewhat less granular but allows for easy dragging up and down as priorities change.
I also use Google tasks to capture my time on per-day lists.
Sigh I’m new and I have like 100 active cases. After about three months and a severe case of colitis I’ve learned. . . Excel charts. Also, mini briefs. I haven’t completed nailed down my process. The mini briefs have critical dates, types of damages, possible defendants, factual issues etc.
Is mini briefs a program or your nickname for it? (Googling it = underwear). I’m a spreadsheeter but always looking for better ways. Currently trying OneNote.
A high quality assistant. Worth every penny and then some.
I use WorkFlowy, which is simply and helpful for tracking lists. I also use OneNote as those above described (tho a little less organized).
I hear trello is excellent too.
