Best ways to recover from a crushing setback multiple rounds deep in an interview process for a role you really had psyched yourself up for?

Sorry to hear that. Don’t get too attached to any one role — so much of it is out of your control (so much easier said than done). I once landed what I thought was my dream job, loved the interviews, and showed up excited on day one… and the management was so bad I burned out and ended up on medical leave.

After that I was unemployed for a year and missed out on a few roles that seemed perfect. Then I interviewed for a smaller company I wasn’t even that excited or psyched about, and it ended up being the best fit I’ve ever had. Love my current team

Life flips on you fast — just ride the waves, because eventually the tide really does turn in your favor 🏄

Exactly what I needed on this Sat night. I am also on my eighth month of unemployment, so was feeling a bit low tonight. Your experience gives me a ray of hope. Thanks for sharing!

Guys, I had very less HRA for April 2022 till August 2022. I was showing 1 lac annual rent .I joined new organisation in sept and now HRA is 43000 per month. Would that be okay to show high rent as 30000 per month to my wife as landlord. Earlier I was paying 9000 rs per month to different landlord. @ IBM

1. How many rounds should i expect in total considering I clear everything? (I think my first round itself has technical + manger/director)
2. How long (time) will it take to get an offer?

Advice when looking for Tech Consulting internships in Chicago or DC Metro? My GPA (3.04) has disqualified me from most major companies. I've opted to focus my efforts into my student organizations and helping others reach their goals, in doing this I compromised for a B average. Are there any firms that will accept recommendation letters with the application? The networking route is also something I am exploring, but haven't had much success thus far. Any help is welcome! Have a great day!

Hello! I need some (creative) suggestions on how to do a video interview. I live in a very small 1br apartment with my husband occupying the bedroom for work during the day and a 2 yr old occupying the living area. I thought of the kitchen but it’s proximity to a busy road makes it a little too noisy to have a good call. The bathroom perhaps? Will that create an echo? I am thinking of using a backdrop so that the mess will be covered up. It will be a 30-min interview.
