What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
Best tiramisu in London?
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

The main difference is the variety of projects at Analysys Mason - they don't only do transaction support, but strat, regulation, etc. They also have a research division. It's pretty big and influential. I actually used their research for a project when working at an MBB.
They are a bit more established than Altman Solon, so in this sense probably less "flashy", but their recognition in the industry is pretty strong
Altman is NOT new in London (fka as Solon consulting). We do work with all the tier 1-3 UK investors and strategic telecoms plus lots of exposure to continental Europe as well. Much stronger beand and opptys than Analysys Mason - personally have been on multiple deals where we came in to redo AM's work.
You sound like you have a chip on your shoulder
Altman is very new in London though a very good brand in the US. Analysys well established in the UK but less strategic/prestigious in my mind.
I think that’s the point SC1 was making. I didn’t see much of Solon in UK outside of PE but the market is quite intransparent. Anyway definitely better brand than Analysys and good to know there is a baseload of work in the UK too
