Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?

I’m just about to join so don’t have an inside view yet. The comp was very attractive, with a generous pension.
TMT is growing fast with mid-market and larger PE funds. I know less about corporate clients.
The people I spoke to were both friendly and impressive. It seems like less of a sweatshop vs. LEK.
I’ve heard that the pains of being incorporated into PwC have mostly been worked through, though you still have a few more hoops to jump through as part of a huge organisation.

Assuming you're at PwC - what is the reputation of the team internally?

Manager salary starts at £80k with 10-15% bonus. Hours are awful and churn is high as a result, but utilisation is great and there is a lot of work across multiple industries. Often cross staff with Consulting Strategy& to help deliver projects.

We go to market sometimes with and without our Financial Due Diligence colleagues in PwC. As a result our client base is pretty huge.
Any ideas on comp at Senior Associate? Seems low for post-MBA at 52k? (According to Glassdoor)
