Having government experience under my belt fits into my future career goals and government work provides more stability and work-life balance.

My first reason for having a government job was for the benefits. They could not come close to what was currently being offered outside. Nothing is ever certain, but I do find it much more stable and that is a huge peace of mind for me and a lot of others I’m working with now.

Benefits. Most employers do not offer retirement or the other reliable benefits working in government does. Government positions are often secure as well. Local government has a wide range of flexibility that is often appealing to employees. Additionally, many offer wellness programs and incentives.

Hi fishes,

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.

Also what do you think of this behavior by GPM?
