Bye EY 👋

Honestly hits a little too close to home

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
What to do with free time after busy season?
Can this week please just end?
What’s a good wireless printer?

BDO at four? that’s a hot take
As someone who worked at BDO. None of my takes are hot. They are ice cold like most of the office leadership 😉
I clicked inside and read into the report, it showed that EY did not participate in the survey this year, they used data from 2015/2016. I worked at EY before I joined my current national firm, I would say that I truly appreciate EY’s culture of inclusiveness and the resource they provide to grow its employees. It’s just my personal experience, I could not say for all.
SA3, maybe get some more skins on the wall and then you can start judging someone else’s journey
we made a list?
WE MADE A LIST!
Wait....we are at 4? 😳😳😬😬
Lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of sheep
EY hurt
Whomp whomp GT 😂
I thought only the new graduates will still look at those surveys...
Ooo someone about to get put on a PIP for this, and for the first time it isnt me.
How did CR make this list?
What is a Plante Moran? Seriously, never heard of them
Plante Moran is traditionally Midwest (HQ in Michigan) but merged with an accounting firm in Colorado this past year
We didn't make top 4 last year either. Clearly, EY is on its way out of the Big Four. 🤦♂️
People said hello to each other and got to know each other personally. Team leads invested time and $ into developing teams that liked working with each other, which made long hours bearable and often fun. Overall it seemed like the importance of individual development and opportunities to explore your interests was a top priority from CEO all the way down.
This list can’t be right, CohnReznick made top 10, we did an internal survey the overall score was low 70s not even passing by cpa exam standards 🤣
Any list where BDO makes #4 is questionable.
I’m just here for the comments and to laugh at those justified by a List 🤣🤣🤣
