I am an Automotive Engineering graduate. I have a PG diploma in Product Design and Analysis using 3D modeling and Analysis software. My previous (and only) job involved design validation and making procurement proposals for bidding on Oil & Gas projects. After this I got CAPM certified and decided to change countries and quit my job.

I got 2 offer, one is for sen software eng for 23 lpa and another is for sen devops eng 21 lpa.
Since I have interest in devops, I thought of moving into devops and also ppl says that devops have good future.
I agreed but I have a doubt here, whatever the scope u have in devops, in future if I want to change job, the organisation is going to fix the salary based my current package at that time right? Then what is mean scope is good in future??

I have an offer from Wipro for 12L as CTC plus 1L as bonus which will be added post a year to the CTC.

HCL(Working here from last 7 yrs) has a counter offer of 14Lak where in 1.2L is technical bonus which gets added to CTC post a year. They were giving a sum around, 4L as project allowance within this 14L, which i didnt agree so they are looking into it to alter and give 12.8L in CTC.

I have 7 yrs of exp. I am finding it difficult to make a decision. Guidence will be helpful.
