I was approached by a recruiter and I have scheduled an interview. However, the main driver for my decision was the 25% bump in my base. Will my CV suffer a hit moving from Pwc to TCS? My role within the deals practice is focused on tech/IT. Curious to hear what others think.

In the interviews they precisely mentioned the role is for "SAP Solutions Architect" and not a normal SAP development role.
Can you please help me with what generally Assistant Manager tasks in Deloitte USI are?

Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? I have given interview to TCS on 28th September, after 2 days got a mail saying that to upload documents I have done that. Today I got a call saying that from TCS and asked me, have you attended any interview I said yes and also said documents uploaded. Then she asked me there is a need in direct project are you okay with technical round and I said yes. Then she said thanks and disconnected.

What is work-life balance like in big tech legal? I’m currently in house at a large multinational; I like my job and I get paid fine, with a very good WLB (40-45 hrs). I want to look into FAANG-type opportunities as they would mean a huge pay bump, and I think I’m qualified, but I have no idea about the hours, and I don’t want to substantially give up WLB, as that’s why I left BigLaw. I don’t want to be miserable again. I know Amazon is poorly reputed for lawyer WLB… what about other places?

1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.
