I’m a senior at a mid tier and been working about 70-75 hours for last 3 weeks on a SEC client. Now I roll off to a new job but the manager wants me to come back and help out the team more. Does industry have billable hours? At the big 4, we are required to work a certain number of hours each week and if we spend too much time on anything we are questioned on why it took so long. Is that a thing when you go in industry?

Starting to see a lot of compensation threads and even within the same city, the variance of salary is really noticeable. I didn’t expect the spread to be this high, especially in high COL areas.
