Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Bain & Company Is there a cool down at Bain even if you don’t make it past the resume screen? Applied a couple months ago on a whim (and a referral from a friend) having no experience with anything business/consulting related as a lateral (only had experience in research prior). Since then have had 2 months at a t2 firm plus some biz dev for a startup. I’m aiming to reapply at 6 months. For context graduated from a t10 school and thought I wanted to go to med school for a little bit lol. Bain & Company
Saw this at a bargain store today

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Check out Chase Sapphire Reserve for travel and dining (3% back). Amazon Rewards is actually pretty decent as well since it doesn’t charge any annual fee (5% back on Amazon purchases, 2% on dining+gas)
Wrong. Csr way better.
Ey op no you’re not “well researched” at all. CSR allows you to receive segments and perks you just have link it with your frequent flyer number
Lol OP you should probably do some research into how it all works. It’s far more valuable (usually) to redeem points for travel and forgo the MQMs, than to essentially sell your reward points for like 1¢. I can usually get 3-4¢ of value for each of my UR points with the CSR, or redeem for a flat 1.5¢ at minimum
OP you know you can use CSR points to ‘pay’ for flights and get MQMs etc. for (I think) 1.5c/pt
@K1 I have the CSR but aside from marginally more points, the venture one is the best IMO. The value of a segment and MQM > Small point variance
Amazon is 5% for Prime, otherwise 3%. Only certain other categories are 2% as noted above, but the Citi Double Cash is 2% on everything
@C1 I thought that when I booked a flight through CSR (As I did recently) I didn't get any points or segments?
Did you include your FF# OP? I️ definitely got pts/segments when I️ booked delta flights with my CSR
@D2 agreed, unless you are like me and trying to finagle your last 8-12 segments to hit platinum. I am well researched haha
I just presumed I suppose, since when I booked a hotel I got no Marriott points
Whether the flights are booked to reach a destination or as part of a status doesn't matter. The opportunity cost of those points are the same. Also, not many status bumps worth 12 segs...
