Has anyone had any side effects from Ovidrel? I did my shot on Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday I was SO tired and fatigued and it was impossible to focus. SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. Can I take a pregnancy test middle of the day?

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

Any tips on how to improve lining thickness? My RE had me on Estrace for a week before starting Prometrium (vaginally) a few days ago, but my lining is only a little above 5mm. Looks likely that this FET cycle is going to get canceled (was potentially going to be this weekend) since the lining doesn’t seem to be thick enough. This will be the 3rd transfer cycle that’s getting canceled, it just really sucks...what’s worse is I didn’t see my doctor today, just the sono tech, (cont’d)

Had a cancelled FET then was put on BC. I got my period while on BC and am on day 7 changing a pad every 4 hours. Anyone experienced this? I’m thinking it’s the lining shedding from cancelled cycle

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢
