Conflicted about potentially taking another job. At a boutique right now making $130k as a 5th year. I am deep in interviews at a series C funded startup at $170k and equity. It’d be a bit of a step up in responsibility but I’m worried about the stability.

Just bc it’s a small firm doesn’t mean it’s a boutique. There’s a stark difference between the two

You’re very underpaid and that is low for a 5th year in house. I’d keep looking.

Very.

Both are underpaid. Can you find something better?

Agree with this

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?
