We have worked hard and invested into our respective professions!! i find it insulting what is being offered as far as compensation!!!

The Boone County Board of Education approved a new pay schedule for all district SLPs, certified and classified, making their pay equitable with Rank 1 teacher certified pay. Congratulations to the SLPs on their advocacy!

Make sure to call your state legislators at 1-800-372-7181 and encourage them to support funding of the SLP salary supplement. It has been approved in the House budget but is under negotiation in the Senate. Urge your state Senator to vote in support of the SLP salary supplement.

The SLP Salary Supplement funding for KY school SLPs was signed into law today. After 11 years, the SLP salary supplement is fully funded which will allow SLPs to begin receiving a $2000 supplement next school year.
