Considering a move from institutional to retail after 20+ years, any thoughts or advice from anyone that's made the change?

Have any of you pursued a graduate certificate in cyber security? If so, did you find any value in it? I currently have Bachelors and Sec+. I’m looking to obtain my AWS CCP in the few coming weeks and was looking for what to get next. I entertain the idea of continuing to pursue my education but I don’t want to incur too much debt with a masters.

I am having 8 years of experience in development. But I started losing interest in coding. I want to move to management side mainly scrum master which I have lot of interest. Is it feasible to shift from developer to scrum master? I recently joined new company. Will they give me opportunity for the same? Any kind of advice is appreciated. Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Anyone know career growth and salary for these two? I don’t want a sales heavy/only lateral growth role like their client solutions manager roles so these seem like good compromises?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate.
