Could anyone elaborate on or point me in the direction for info on AUSAs, when it comes to restrictions on trading securities? I know the SEC is very strict and has a blanket rule for all attorneys, but not sure about DOJ attorneys (and whether it depends on what office/unit/section you’re in).

There are no restrictions on trading securities in general. Rather, you have to make a conflict of interest disclosure on each case you handle and disclose if you or closely affiliated people like a spouse, have an interest in the outcome of a matter you're handling.

However because the matters AUSAs investigate on the fraud side can vary so much, most keep things simple and avoid holding stocks or interests in companies when possible

Hello all! I am looking for a job in finance/investments, but I’m having trouble attracting attention from employers. I have a finance degree from UGA, but all of my experience (3.5 years) is in sales (tech and real estate), so no relevant internships unfortunately. Any advice on how to market myself better and where I should be looking would be greatly appreciated!
