Please help me with the in hand salary

I recently finished my Masters in Cyber Security and have a Bachelors in Software Development. As much as I love the technical aspect of my degrees, I think the happiest me would be in tech sales. I had found an opportunity at IBM for entry level sales starting in 2023 and was wondering if anyone had gone through this or the Summit program? Looking for insight on applying and would love to chat with anyone who has or currently works for IBM! Thanks in advance!

McKinsey & Company Does level and/or office matter for referrals at McKinsey & Company? A friend is willing to refer at the Associate level in my target office though I did not get any traction w/ the referral last year. I'm a Veteran so I also recognize there may be a resume translation issue despite the prior version getting me interviews with BCG and Bain. I have updated the resume since - though still wondering if there's anything else I can do to strengthen my case. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I wouldn't wear a cropped or non-traditional blazer to court.
This is a funny convo to me because if I wore this I’d look insane. Just belly hanging out - jacket pointing to the belly. All this to say, if you have the figure to pull this off, it’s going to look A LOT more professional than most of us are imagining. Wear whatever makes you feel confident. That’s what will show.
@author. This comment also makes me laugh. I can ONLY wear long blazers. Again—you gotta wear what makes you feel confident. I remember a judge once telling me a woman isn’t fully dressed without heels. I look like a wounded deer in heels. I am what I am. Realizing that was everything for me. No man has to think about this. You do what works for you!
I wouldn’t wear this in front of the judge, but maybe in front of the jury if I wanted to win subconscious pts
Pro
How do you plan to only be seen by only the jury and not also the judge?
I probably wouldn’t wear it in federal court where I am in the northeast
Wouldn’t wear this in court. No crops unless you are wearing a sheath dress, and even then, questionable
Probably depends on the judge, so I'd ask locals. I know plenty who wouldn't give that outfit a second thought. And I've also heard wild stories about judges sending people home for not wearing socks.
btw, I hate that this was a perfectly reasonable question.
I would not wear this in court.
I say yes. Especially our state courts or any non trial appearance. I see some quite casual prosecutors and public defenders so why not private attorneys.
No.

There’s been a weird trend for “boyfriend blazers” and jackets that make me feel like I’m 5 and have snuck into my mom’s closet. I don’t understand it. I would go for a fitted traditional suit jacket. If you don’t want to match, go with a sheath dress.
Gahh I was just complaining about how long suit jackets are now, especially since I’m curvy - it just makes me look bigger than I am
I’m in NYC if that helps, but my firm litigates cases around the country in both state and federal court
Second. I would not wear this in federal court. I also wouldn’t want to wear this in front of a jury. The outfit is so cute but you don’t want the jury to focus on you.
Pro
The big issue here will be how the cropped jacket fits. If it fits well enough that the side of the top does not show, then yes this can work. I would do a white fitted blouse underneath.
Pro
A navy blouse would be cute too but not a button down. I would do a fitted blouse, preferably one with a body suit style undergarment to make it more understated for the jacket.
