From associate to VP - what specially to learn
Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

I recently applied to the Content Designer, 2023 Graduate remote role at Atlassian and I'd appreciate it if I could get a referral.
Here are some details to aid in your decision-making:
- Last summer, I worked at Google as a UX Content Design Intern.
- I am currently in a grad program at
NYU and will graduate in Spring 2023.
- Before graduate school, I spent 3+ years as a Copywriter in Advertising.
I'd really appreciate any recommendation I can get at this time.

Happy to answer questions about S& deals. LEK is a great firm as well.
i think you’d be better off at LEK if interested in life sciences.

LEK has a very different model than traditional strategy consulting. At least pre pandemic, they were essentially zero travel, so I assume they will stick with that as we (hopefully) move back towards travel a bit (F you omicron variant).
LEK also has a different apprenticeship model where you are expected to take on more than one project very early in your career and start managing people earlier as well. Personally I don’t see how that works or is remotely enjoyable, consulting is hard enough with 1 client at the junior levels
Wanted to offer a slight correction here, you don’t handle multiple cases until you’re an engagement manager. Only time I’ve ever dealt with two cases at once is with tail work from a case that’s already wrapped up. You do have management responsibility directly after MBA here which can be tough, but it’s only one case at a time
I was in deals and it’s exclusively CDD. Very very little growth strategy work so I decided to make the switch. Also was not a fan of the culture there but YMMV
That’s not true at all. Also we only have 1 person who went to LEK, and they were senior enough to sell strategy work if they wanted to do it.
