Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

You’re unlikely to get a significant increase by staying at your current job. Best to pursue outside opportunities. Statistics show leaving for another offer results in much higher pay most of the time. You can try using the external offer as leverage to get more in your current role. But it’s almost always better to accept a new offer than to accept a counter offer from your current company.
14% is a pretty good raise percentage. Most comp budgets are already determine for the year, so there isn’t more to give you now. However come mid-year your manager may have more money to throw your way depending on company performance. Look at external offers. See what you can get.
That’s how my company is like too. I’m curious when the right time to ask is too.
Worth noting that I don’t want to leave and am not interested in the external role offered. Just looking to understand the best time to bring it back up
Stay in school. Keep learning perpetually. move away from this company.
Chase the money. Happiness comes later.
I would seriously jump ship and go where you're going to make more and gain more and different experience. Companies don't tend to want to raise your wage just because you're unhappy. They'll realize how expensive it is to replace you. Too bad for them.
