Credit score went up 100 points in the last year 😮‍💨

Pre-approved for a home but the rate lock expired and now we have to re apply. My husband lets me know his credit score dropped 111 points because of credit card utilization. Even if we get it below 30% ( which we can) not sure it will quickly reflect. I also added him as an authorized user on a high limit credit card I have. Any other suggestions besides trading him in lbs

If you had 2 mortgages at the exact same interest rate (1 is a 15 year and the other is a 30 year), does it make sense to put extra payments (say 400 per month) towards one or the other? Looking at it purely from a $ perspective in the long term (not psychological where You prepay the lower balance quicker to ultimately have only one loan).

15 year loan - 125k balance (renting this property out)
30 year loan - 400k balance (looking to buy this property soon)

Guys, I had very less HRA for April 2022 till August 2022. I was showing 1 lac annual rent .I joined new organisation in sept and now HRA is 43000 per month. SSYS would be a 6x return just to get back to ATH, and has been flat for 5 years. It’s currently at the low end of that range. That tells me that the risk is low compared to the potential/likely reward over enough time. Using this kind of strategy was successful for me with crypto. What do folks think here?

Working for a big insurance provider and currently at a grade 6 individual contributor role and want to get a grade 8 manager role. Managers make 40% more than my current salary on average. Is it crazy to think I would get offered that because it’s a senior position? I know 10% is a promotion raise at the company but that wouldn’t make sense jumping up 2 levels. Thoughts?
