Curious to hear from fellow designer/art Director moms if in your experience it’s easier to be a freelancer as a mom, versus full-time? Would love to hear from fellow moms! Thanks :)

It definitely depends on where you are working and what you are working on, but overall I think it's a lot easier as a freelancer.

Ladies, I’m considering getting a double helix piercing. Most ppl I’ve mentioned it to are super pro, but I am hesitating in case the piercings would be viewed as unprofessional (even if I wear fancy diamond hoops or studs in them). What are your thoughts? FWIW I have 2 lobe piercings on both sides.

Do new hires get some kind of new hire present. Company swag. Or some shopping gift balance. I got all of those when hired by PwC. Curious if D would have similar gifts too as welcome presents.

Been interviewing with D, EY and Accenture at M level. Keep feeling a bait and switch to SC. I'm M currently. The feedback has only been that I "haven't worked on large enough projects" and that 1 yr as an SC to M timeline would allow me to "learn their capabilities, approaches, etc".

Anyone else face this? I'm a bit frustrated. High performer, MBA... How much will this effect salary, if I accept an SC vs. M offer?

Left my firm a few weeks ago and suddenly I have several male colleagues from my team dm’ing me comments about my body and calling me “sexy”. I have really bad anxiety, depression, and PTSD and these dms have really been taking a toll on me mentally. I haven’t eaten in 3 days. I really don’t know what to do as an ex-employee since I can no longer report to department’s HR. Am I just overreacting?

Okay soooo I have an adult 8 year old Maltese. I have tried everything from Farmers dog to Caesar. Mixing wet and dry...putting toppers on. I kinda got him to eat out of my hand. But I have to put bland chicken on top just to get him to come near it. I have tried the leave food down for 20 minutes then pick it up....he just won't eat. I'm gonna try Pet Plate subscription to see if that works. Hopefully it does.

Any pet owners have any suggestions. I'm a newbie. I've only had my Ben since May.

Need advice. I have a client who just can't stop getting in their own way. They push us to turn a document quickly (in this case, an LPA for a new fund), and then take weeks to review, following up with a 50-page chart setting forth the LPA sections and detailed questions/comments. I can't keep anyone on this client because their process is so brutally and unnecessarily time-consuming, and I can't keep pulling all-nighters just trying to respond to all the questions. What do I do?
