(1) identifying who you’re building relationships with to extend your personal network with
(2) what opportunities you have for increasing your responsibilities, milestones, and achievements
(3) what will make a strong case study for building your portfolio
Have your exit in mind. It’s rare folks stay in the same job for multiple years these days.
For early career, focus on what you can learn from your hiring manager and team.
Work where the people are smarter than you, and absorb everything you can from their wisdom.
