Hi guys! Had a call with a recruiter and they asked for my email to send me the link to apply. Haven’t heard since the initial call, thinking I might have failed the screening call. Would that deter you from applying online? For context, recruiter reached out first and the company was not on my radar before. After some research I got interested, but haven’t articulated that clearly enough on my call (didn’t expect I was going to be asked questions and thought I would just hear about openings).

I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience? I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?
