Currently a consultant and looking to exit opps as a product manager for a startup. What should my salary expectations be? I feel like I'm going to have to take a pay cut for the long term experience.

I've seen people say that if you're underpaid, you can't just outline your contributions because your manager needs a compelling reason for finance to bump your salary and they need to prove you're underpaid. So how do I present my case that I'm being underpaid other than "my friends make this amount in their role" or "Glassdoor says this" when finance can find rebuttals for these arguments?

In weekend checked out VTP Peagusus project in Kharadi possession 2025.
