How many awards does your landlord/mortgage company charge you a month? How many awards does your airline charge for flights? How many awards does a nice date night cost?
AI can easily replace people who make mediocre ads, not those who do top notch conceptual thinking. (For now)
If you have some great ideas and awards in your book you won’t get sucked in the pool of mediocrity. Quality of work is a safer bet for the future.
I review books every week to hire people. Believe me, don’t trade quality work for a short-term raise, especially not as a senior creative. I’ve seen people fall into that trap again and again, and they always regret it.
This is a tough one. In this economy, I'd say take the money. But it all depends on how long the smaller agency has been around and how stable they are. I'm also not one who puts much value in awards. It seems they're more about who you know than what you create.
If you’re a senior ad and can swing staying, stay. Good work pays more over the long run. If you really need a raise, leave to another place that makes great work for a bump. If you e been making great work, that’s totally a doable venture.
Dont leave great work for bad work and more money. At least not yet.
If you need the money, take it.
If the smaller agency has interesting accounts or people you jive with and it seems like an enjoyable place to work, take it.
Additionally if you are comfortable enough with your manager you could have a conversation and frame it in a way where it doesn’t sound like you were seeking out other work but this opportunity came to you and you’d rather stay here because of XYZ… and see what they can offer you.
If this is a large award winning agency I’d imagine they have the funds to match a smaller unknown agency
More awards will help you command more money and help future proof yourself. Does the smaller agency produce a lot of work? is the scope of project going to be the same or will you be doing Tier 3 work? Are the CDs known and accomplished, will you learn a lot from them? The money would be great, but you don’t want to end up stuck.
Others have already said it in various ways but it really depends on where you're at in your career. As a senior AD, seems to me you're at the mid point. You're probably not ready to 'retire' to a more workman-like agency for more money. Awards are stupid but they help you in the long run. Chase the money later when you're properly burned out and jaded.

Do you have a good time while working on these briefs? If yes, stay, work and have fun. I'm assuming you're young and this is the time to do this. Make a name for yourself, if you haven't already. And grow your brand. If you succeed at both, more money + creativity will aplenty
Take the money and do great work wherever you are.
Take the money. Depending on what you’ve learned in your current job, you might actually help them elevate their creative. Just be patient, since some people don’t love it when the new person tries to change things overnight.
Do both jobs until the new one fires you for doing both
