Currently in my third year of Law and Criminology BCL in Maynooth University (will be International Law and Criminology after I finish my Erasmus this year). However, job prospects seem dire, especially if you're like me and don't want to go into being a barrister/solicitor. Even with a Masters (I have a friend with one) it seems Ireland is kinda slim pickings for criminology work and even when I look abroad in the UK/Australia etc it seems slim. Any advice or insights?

I’m a law graduate who never wanted to become a barrister or solicitor. I graduated and pivoted into supply chain… which I’m now head of in a multi billon dollar firm. Graduates of law are highly thought of and I have used my legal knowledge to help me in aspects of my role.. employment law (as a leader), commercial law and contract law. So keep an open mind about what career you may end up in. Good luck!

Hi All, currently Visa is approved, stamping is yet to be done... But the package is 60k only and I heard from colleagues who are already there, that this is not sufficient...
