Currently job hunting and interviewing. PTO is very important to me for any reason ranging from medical, emergencies, sick kids, etc. How would most of you feel (especially those who have been employed for a while at their current job) about a job that offers 5 Days of PTO after 6 months, 10 at a year, and then 15 at 2? To be fair, they do have a point system where you can “point out” after 10 points. 1/2 point if you’re a minute to 4 hours late. Anything after 4 is one point.

I want to get into Real Estate Law - as a NY attorney I know it should be relatively easy to get my real estate brokers license and I’m also considering a 1 year LLM in Real estate law, is the LLM worth it or should I just continue applying to real estate attorney jobs?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. I stand firm on not wasting my time applying for a job that doesn't post the salary with the job description, anyone else do this? Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.
