I was laid off back in August and I have been trying to get a product/UX/UI job ever since then. With the recession and all of the crazy things that are happening right now it has been even harder.

Is anyone hiring a mid-level Product/UX/UI designer?
I have 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer and I am available to start working immediately! (Remote work is preferred since I live in Phoenix, AZ and there are not a lot of tech jobs here)

I think everyone will agree with this that in last 1-2 years we have seen a tremendous change in Indian IT industry and tremendous growth in Salaries and negotiations. Can someone explain me the factors that are triggering it even when the world markets are in huge correction phase and we are also seeing layoffs and revoked offers.

I’m 1 year post-MBA and was just let go despite top performance results—firm is not acknowledging COVID layoffs, though. Given 5+ YOE w/background in tech sales could BizOps be a fit? TIA!

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Hello Fishes, is 15 LPA a reasonable compensation for Machine learning engineer (python, c++, computer vision and deep learning ) with 2 years of experience, current working for a product based company. If not what is the current industry standard. I keep seeing people posting 30+ LPA for data science roles with 3+ yoe.

I'm looking for a change and want to get into a DS role. I have 1.8 years of experience at a fortune 50 retailer and I am currently a senior analyst. I also have PGDM in finance, and my skills include SQL, python, PowerBI, tableau, familiar with Knime, Alteryx and also PySpark. I have done a DL project (CNN) in my master's dissertation and also have done projects with Regression too. I've been applying to companies via LinkedIn but not receiving any call back.
