Speedy, hands down.
The contrasting white dial is very good looking. Love the wave pattern
Is it just me or is the indices at 6 o clock (under the date window) on the seamaster off center?
Just this piece or perhaps it’s a camera illusion. I’ve seen it in person and it’s definitely not off-center
Definitely prefer the look of the moonwatch. Looks aside, I’d also suggest to check on your day-to-day routine and holidays. The thing I dislike about the speedy is its limited water resistance. So if you go the beach often or swim, I wouldn’t pick it. Unless of course you have another leisure watch for the weekend/holidays.
Speedy-
Pros: Iconic, very versatile, and looks great with literally almost any strap.
Cons: Manual wind (not necessarily a con if you like winding it), limited water resistance, the Hesalite version picks up crystal scratches, I always had an issue with the clasp fully closing when I’d first put it on.
Seamaster-
Pros: Modern Automatic movement, date, Submariner alternative, with bracelet it’s versatile but not as much as the speedy
Cons: Wears a bit larger than the speedy, not as timeless as the speedy or a sub, I personally find the hands and dial a bit busy, the bracelet doesn’t taper so I’ve heard some people say it can get uncomfortable.
Since I’ve owned and sold a Speedmaster before, I would choose the Seamaster but on bracelet, even with the listed cons.
Or moonwatch
I prefer the speedy out of these two
Speedy
moonwatch
I personally feel the SMP is sportier but the moon-watch is way more versatile. Both are great options. If you can’t decide purely based on looks, feel, price, etc., ask yourself if you want a watch with diver or an aerospace/racing background.
I am surprised that Omega doesn’t offer a clasp on that seamaster
I like the Seamaster a lot more
Speedy is incredible
I prefer the Seamaster as it's both beautiful and not as ubiquitous. That said, it looks like this one is not an appropriate size for your wrist.
