Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. Do it, I dare you. 😑

Honestly, documenting everything has been my best defense. I always follow up verbal requests with a quick email recap asking for clarification. It feels tedious sometimes, but it’s saved me when leadership suddenly "forgot" what they asked for.
We need to be the ones that set boundaries when contracting. If not, we will be working 24/7.
There are 2 sides to this:
1. Customer - document their requests and let them know everything you are already doing and what impact new requests might have on legacy work
2 . Your company - you need to tell them of the new requests and ask how they want you to handle them. Do they want you to do more within the current contract or not?
This is a great time to push back; let us know how it goes.
Right? I had a slow month after inauguration and have been buried since, and thank God. Its not a worker or employer market right now, it's a doge market
Isn’t the whole point of federal consulting better wlb/ not working weekends? Isn’t that why we take less pay 💀.
A bit of scope creep is fine but more than 50% extra is outrageous, if you don’t take a stand they’ll keep pushing
