Amazon. Better pay, better company, lower col, no income tax, far better exit opps.

WLB, and Amazon TC would be better. Do you know your TC for both?

Consulting experience may edge Amazon's experience, but dependent on the engagements you'd be put on. But the comp, WLB, and potential for growth is likely better with Amazon
From Seattle, and gotta say Amazon with that pay difference. You’ll be able to buy a house in 2 years if you’re efficient about saving but still live pretty well off. I lived on $70K and was able to save over 30% in a year while maintaining a good social life and other wants.
Are stock options on the table as well? Is so Amazon
Amazon for sure! Deloitte will give you peanuts for bonus. Amazon stonks will take you way further with respect to pay. Even if you quit amazon shortly, it will open the doors.
You might be able to find better opportunities in Bay Area if you keep trying. But I don’t know much about your situation and your priorities.
I badly need a change as am exhausted with my current firm
Amazon TC will beat Deloitte by over 30-40%, and much more in 2-3 years timeframe. Don’t even spend time on this. You may not like Amazon’s culture but the comp difference is ridiculously big.
Amazon / Seattle. Quicker salary growth at AMZN and ability to move around internally for even better and higher paying opportunities. Also, I much prefer Seattle to SF.
Which practice of Deloitte ?
Amzn then

Amazon - making a move there myself and super excited about the opportunities. Seattle isn’t SF but when you see the increased lay coming in every month , really makes it worth saying in the PNW

My apologies - meant to say increased pay
Amazon, what is your skill set, I am also trying for TPM roles.
Worked on delivering projects end to end on diverse tech stack - Java, .NET, AWS Cloud Migrations etc
I've heard not do great things about Amazon culture. Might depend on the department.
Base seems pretty low for a Manager. Is that just the D pay scale?
I think Amazon is the better work experience and resume builder to be honest.
