Just got a verbal offer for experienced analyst position at a middle market investment bank in Chicago. What should I expect/negotiate for in terms of salary and bonus?

I cleared Accenture interview and today got an email to upload documents on their portal. Also, got a call from HR and she asked about the salary expectations and other details. And few minutes later I found that my profile has been put on hold.

question is, they will negotiate with me or they have rejected my profile ?

Do I still negotiate if the agency says that their salary bracket for a mid-level Art Director position is from €xx.000 to €xx.000? How?

Have an offer to either join a company’s Enterprise Risk Consulting team or Technology Risk Consulting team. Any insights on the difference from the work they do to difference in comp?

Highly suspect a place I’m interviewing at is a sweatshop. What questions can I ask to get a good sense and what are red flags?

The rumors about PwC KSDC changing the bonus/hike payout cycle from July to an earlier month between March and June are picking pace. If there is any senior staff, or member with credible information on this, please share your 2 cents. The suspense is killing me, and I am sure many of you echo my sentiments here.

So far, I have heard:
- March
- May
- June
- July but with salary effective from April (paid as arrears in July). Something similar for June as well.

Asking from nagarrians.... Have you ever asked HR to increase project commitment bonus/ allocation? If yes, then did they agree and how much?

Any idea of I'll be automatically considered for promotion to manager on completing 10 years of work exp? Also any clue on what fixed salary components for manager get in EY GDS (India)?

Got an offer from a secondaries group in a PE firm in SF (<1B latest fund). Had 200 all-in comp in consulting (80%+ coming from base) and bumping up to 230 soon. PE firm is offering 120 base + 90 bonus for Associate position. Does this transition make sense if I ultimately want to become an investor / work in PE? Goal was traditional PE, but no luck there so far with interviews. Also not sure if offer $ is in typical ballpark of what you can expect in MM PE in SF?

I’ve been doing ID for about 2 years now. Mostly slip and fall and WC work. Long-term, I want to move out of ID. I’m currently interviewing at a firm that does ID, but mostly does insurance coverage opinions. They also do some more complex ID, such as L&E.

With the ultimate goal of moving completely out of ID, would this be seen as a step up? I appreciate any and all feedback. TIA

During and after the HBS interview, I felt really really strong about it with a number of compliments from the interviewer throughout the conversation, but second guessing myself now… seems like a lot of people feel the same way? :(

I work in FP&A consolidations at a large sell side bank. I moved internally after working in the planning group of a Working Capital Solutions business. I often feel like I would enjoy client facing or advisory work because it would help me build a skill that could translate to me potentially running my own advisory firm one day… I feel my role just looks at numbers on a page which doesn’t help me develop translatable subject matter skills or expertise. I’ve never really had heartburn before but holy shit! Having a really hard time this week. Everyday just feels the same. I have zero motivation to work, all I want to do is lounge around and not be responsible for anything. How do I get over this feeling?

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety?
