I was hired from a service based company, with 2 years of experience in tech role (Java).

They offered me 10LPA and I blindly accepted it :(. Now I have realized that even graduate joinees are paid more than that!

Can someone working in DB or has worked in DB, say how much do 2 years in tech roles make in DB?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. Hello everyone! How do you manage holiday pay when the holiday is on a Saturday/ Sunday. For example, if I have someone working on Christmas (Sunday), they should be paid 1.5 but what if they work on Monday as well?I know this might sound silly to some people but I’m covering for payroll for the holidays and I don’t want to mess up!

I am looking to join Deutsche Bank in the FO as a Strat ( Director ). HR mentioned a target bonus number, which is not guaranteed. Any idea, on average how close is the first year bonus : 80/90/100 ,% to the target bonus number ?

Is a target bonus number, given to only new joiners or is it given every year to all employees ?
