How the heck can I teach a kindergartener over the computer? It's all hands on in my class for the first couple of months. I have made and bought so many manipulatives but I can't send twenty home with the kiddos. Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. Several students continually talk, yell, and laugh over me, or make noises when I am talking. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.
