JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I’m in a smaller group of about 20 and yes we all do. It’s use it or lose it so you’re incentivized to take it and no minimum hours for a bonus so there’s really no reason not to. Can’t speak to if pressures are different in other groups.
Good to know - yeah it of course makes sense on paper to use all of it, just wasn’t sure if that actually still happens in practice though
Yes. In my group the partners encourage us. Was told no one earns extra points for skipping out on their vacation time
Thanks A4!
Everyone at Simpson takes the full 4 weeks. Never heard of anyone not
Been at three big firms and literally none of them have ever cared if I was taking vacation or not unless they wanted to yell at me for taking vacation
In my group, people generally take all 4 weeks
I’m on second round interview with STB as class of 2019. What is the 4 week vacation policy?!?!? I actually really liked the partner I met with
Way better than “unlimited” in my opinion based on my former firm. At least there’s some structure to it and it seems like most people take it, which is nice.
