I think it depends on precedent. If people are used to seeing you wear makeup, probably yeah it might feel unprofessional. If you’ve always been makeup free around them they won’t know the difference.

No need to wear it
I don’t wear much makeup either. I’ll occasionally put on mascara but that’s about it. I haven’t noticed any difference in how I’m treated because of it and I used to wear more makeup pre-Covid.
Makeup for women used to be required in my old law firm dress code, so would imagine some older folks may view it as unprofessional. That said, you should be able to compensate with other aspects of your appearance. So unfair, but women are expected to put more effort into their appearance than men. Read the beauty myth.
I never wear it
I think a little bit of makeup does go a long way - like a little bit of mascara/ eyeliner. Agree with the other commentators on here that if you usually don’t wear makeup no one would know the difference lol
I wouldn’t say so. As long as you are well groomed with tidy clothes, that’s enough to look polished and professional.
