If you stuck around long enough to be a senior at Susman you are likely to make partner. They have an "eat what you kill" model so they are willing to make people partner. There are actually more partners than associates at the firm.

A3, what part is wrong? You can go on Susman's website and count the number of partners vs. Number of associates. You can also look at their announcements of partnership classes and match it to associates in those partnership classes. This may require a commercial database like Leopard solutions to track down but is technically based on public data.
SG' partner compensation model is not fully public, but it is quite well known it is eat what you kill. SG partners have $0 base compensation by just sitting around on their ass. They need to either participate in generating cases or work on other partners cases in order to earn money. This model makes it easier to make more partners because it is not like existing partners are just forced to turn over earnings to new partners who don't contribute
