I honestly judge people for not caring enough to learn someone’s name or simply correct auto correct…So I correct folks once but I notice it sometimes still happens soo I pick and choose my battles…. Unfortunately
Depends on what it is and how often, if often I correct them no matter what.
If in a document that is shown to a group or team, yes.
Not really! Because allot of these iPhones 📱 etc have auto correct. Some companies as well have it in the emails. Most ethnic names they misspell. As opposed to it being the person.
I am very sensitive to this because although my name is very common, people spell it with a K instead of a C. I choose when to bring it to people’s attention. Often I introduce myself and spell my name correctly.
My name is commonly misspelled as it is common and has multiple spellings. Something like a simple/single email, I don't usually bother, but I definitely take note to see if it becomes repetitive. It never has, but if so, I would reply directly to the person and let them know. More often than not, someone else usually steps in before I ever do.
If it's something like a presentation, certainly, I make sure it's correct from the beginning.
I will correct every time. If Sarah can correct me to Sara, then I can too. Period
