Yes I have felt this way before. I am half black half white and it is really hard to be mixed and try to find your place to fit in. I always feel like black women think I am not one of them but at the same time I look more black then I do white. It is sometimes really hard to navigate.

Yep. I sure do. I’m Afro-Latino, and identify as a Black man so I’ve faced challenges with it. People are often surprised by my name. I just try to focus on helping all people of color and that has helped me.
Thank you, I wish POC in general would do that instead of trying to discriminate or ignore those outside of their race, even if they’re mixed themselves. Are there any specific groups or events you’d recommend?
