Do you have a reading goal for 2022? I've read 3 books already this year and want to try to finish 60 before the end of the year.

I had a reading goal for last year, 52 books. I read about 30 because the second half of my year kept me crazy busy at work. I felt so guilty towards the end, not because I did not get to do something I enjoy (read), but because I did not reach my goal. I want to take a step back this year, read more of what I want to, DNF books I don’t enjoy, and just read for the pleasure of reading.

I'm hoping for 60 this year. Last year I did 65 and I'm hoping I can keep the momentum going 😄

Its been a good year this time. I usually do a goal for 60 for this year, I finished my 59th yesterday and hopefully will be able to go well beyond what I planned. Goodreads' book challenge really helps keep track of the books

This is the first year I’ve set a goal - 36. I’m already at 28 so I think I underestimated. ☺️

Maybe this is the socialist in me but shouldn’t Moderna and Pfizer waive their patent exclusivity for their Covid vaccines? Don’t we have a moral obligation for the world to vaccinate as many people as quickly as possible?

It blows my mind that many countries won’t be able to vaccinate most of their people until 2023. There should be access to vaccine generics

Awfully quiet here. I have been looking at news and seeing weird stuff. Do 70% of Republicans really believe that Trump lost due to voter fraud? That is an insanely high number.

I’ve been having a super hard time concepting lately, especially knowing that the “concept” will mostly serve as a sticker to slap on the cover of a CVA and the top of a website. I feel like every pharma concept I’ve ever seen or created becomes so cheesy once it appears in tactics. Does anyone have any examples of HCP creative (non-DSA) that is both impactful and translates well into pharma tactics?

Any sci-fi fans here? I recently read this book - blindsight. Absolutely delightful! It's one of those hard sci-fi novels and I'll be honest i didn't understand about 25% of all the concepts.. but even with that, it was soooo good!

Would welcome any other recommendations...

Did anyone read this yet ? I'm not sure how much I liked the paragraph long sentences but it has some very distinctive Kafkaesque tones. The book has already seen widely different reviews from different political camps. Ex-McKinsey & Company consultants are really becoming mainstream authors now.
