Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

I have them set up everywhere. How reliable they are is a different story. Sometimes I'll get notifications as soon as a job is posted. Other times the "just posted!" job has already been up for 5 hours.
Interesting
I have some set up. They vary widely in quality and effectiveness, and they're often not very timely. It's probably best to do your own checking each day if you're very serious about looking for positions. Btw, it's important to spend some time learning how to use the search functions on the major job sites, that can make a big difference. Learning to narrow things down can help you from getting a lot of pointless hits.
