I generally cook all my own food. I very seldom get take-out food, like maybe a few times a year I'll get Chinese take-out food, which I really don't know how to make on my own. I'm not really a great cook by any stretch, but I know enough to get by on a budget.

Yum- what is your goto Chinese food order? I'm a beef & broccoli gal with a side of hot & spicy soup.… making me hungry, lol
I get takeout 2 or 3 times a month, otherwise I cook. I live alone which means my leftovers last ages! I cook in big batches and then separate into individual containers and freeze. Means I always have 10+ different healthy food options in the freezer I can grab any time I want. Helps me avoid takeout.

I wish I was efficient like you and did this!
I actually really like to cook and bake! It’s just the time and cleaning that makes take out so much easier! Try to stick to simpler meals, and you really can do a lot with that still. It doesn’t have to be complex to be good, a lot of the simplest dishes end up being the best to me.

Hate having to clean up afterward. What’s your favorite thing to bake? I love making cheesecake!
I have started making myself cook more so that I don't eat out all the time. I started getting Hello Fresh and cooking atleast three times a week. It helps because its two servings so I eat the other serving for a lunch th next day. I usually only eat up about once a week.

I used to subscribe to hello fresh but it became out of budget for me. The meals were always delicious, though
