I have an offer with Capita plc for 22 LPA for 5 yoe.
It's complete WFH.
Tech stack is spring boot and microservices.
Is it a product based company or a service based company?
How wlb will be in Capita plc?
I have been offered 6A band as senior software engineer, so is 22LPA fair compensation?
Thanks in advance.

I recently applied to the Content Designer, 2023 Graduate remote role at Atlassian and I'd appreciate it if I could get a referral.
Here are some details to aid in your decision-making:
- Last summer, I worked at Google as a UX Content Design Intern.
- I am currently in a grad program at
NYU and will graduate in Spring 2023.
- Before graduate school, I spent 3+ years as a Copywriter in Advertising.
I'd really appreciate any recommendation I can get at this time.

29, yes because I can spend more time on myself & things I care about than having to do the whole dance of getting ready and commuting to the office.
29-- yes, but it definitely took an adjustment to find my right rhythm.
I love being able to fidget/pace during meetings and wearing whatever I want during the day. Plus lunches always end up better than brown bagging it!
24 yrs old and yes. It’s amazing and I don’t have to be fake or act like I’m working when I can finish my work in half the time and go about with my day doing something else lol
27, not a fan of remote work because I need real life interaction with people.
25 - I worked remotely for ages due to covid and at times I liked it because you have more time and don’t have to get ready but its just soooo boring, I would go all week and the most time I’d talk to someone is on scrum.
I now work hybrid, twice a week in the office and I much much prefer it. I’ve actually had the chance to speak to and get to know the people on my team (just joined the team this year). WFH all the time is so boring and bad for mental health, I don’t want to spend the majority of my life cooped in my room.
31, I absolutely love it. I love not driving to work, eating when and what I want to eat, taking breaks to do what I want (whether that be a walk around the neighborhood with my husband, or chores), not freezing in office air conditioning, maybe having some youtube or netflix on while I work, the list goes on...! That said, if I lived alone, I can see how it could get lonely. But as things stand, I don't think I'll ever take another in person job!
Oh I forgot about cooking my own meals! Definitely a huge plus
29, I used to like it but more often than not I feel claustrophobic being in my room all day. Separation between work and personal life becomes muddled. It’s assumed you’re always near ”the office” and can work extra or be available if needed. Which exploits work life balance. I would like to go back in but none of my team want to go back. Everyone staying home and our office space is empty. Also Part of why I would like to go back is the interaction day to day and socialising again
28, love remote work. Encouraged me to pursue a position with more interaction to exercise my social muscles. Opened my mind to more options as to how to structure my days and future career path options.
28, and like working remote. Really hate office politics. It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. I have heard disgraceful comments made by my supervisor of her senior in the office.
I'm 34, and I love it. From now on, I will likely only take jobs that are either full-remote or some form of extremely flexible hybrid (in the office on any given day/week only if I so choose).
Downsides to remote work have been small (e.g., my ability to engage in small talk is atrophied), but the gains have been transformative (e.g., spending time with my elderly cat before she passed, experimenting with natural hair without having to have it look good every day, resting when I need to, etc.)
28 - mixed bag. i like being able to work from anywhere. i live a semi-nomadic lifestyle and it’s great to not be tied to one location.
but i do miss having more social interaction. i guess it puts a fire under me to meet people outside of work, but it does get lonely.
32. I love working remote. I am a mom and I can see my child more often. Also I love my home, gardening, and taking walks and chatting with my neighbors on breaks. My office at home is great. If I didn’t love being home I might feel differently, but it is perfect for me
26. I love it. So much flexibility and freedom over my time and job opportunities. Yeah I may work more some days and less other days but it balances out. I also found a job/team I love so it’s enjoyable. The occasional work trip is more than enough ‘in person’ for me.
23, I like it but I want to move towards something more hybrid. I’ve gone into the office a few times a month but I have been working remote since I started a full time job. I like the time saved on travel and getting ready. As a few others have mentioned already, it’s nice finishing up your work early and not have to worry about looking busy all the time. It also gives me more flexibility to take care of personal matters like doctors appointments and manage stress. On the other hand, I would like to have more interactions with my team or even other people in the office and get out more. I don’t think I would ever want to work fully in person but I see benefits to going in the office a few times a week.
I am 35. I really do enjoy wfh. It provides me wlb that I didn't have before.
39 - love it and in fact if my company requires us back in the office I plan to leave. I am a parent of a teen, I love being able to take a quick break to pick up my kid from school if needed and be here when he gets home. I am very social and so I actually get a lot more done at home where I am not distracted by my coworkers and tempted to help them with every question or issue they have. I do sometimes miss that social aspect but I fill that bucket outside of work with friends and family. It does help though that I am an hourly employee and my sector hardly ever allows over time so my work life balance is decent! Once my kid graduates high school I really want to find a fully remote position that allows me to travel more.
33 yes because I have a young child and nanny and my Husband also works from home. I love being around my family.
